Back in college one of my closest friends and I would live for saturdays when we got to go out after work. A running joke was that we would always have certain outfits planned in our minds but when it came down to it, we didn’t have a piece (or sometimes pieces) of the planned outfit. Maybe we were just looking for another excuse to go shopping? Anyways, as the years have passed I still do this. A few weeks back I found myself planning the perfect outfit for my sister in law’s baby shower, but I actually ended up buying the top the day of lol. Does anyone else do this?
I know, I know … off-the-shoulder? For spring/summer? How groundbreaking. (You get a cookie if you know where that’s sort of from haha.) The trend is everywhere right now and I love it. Not sure why but I have always loved how my clavicles look and the off-the-shoulder style emphasizes them perfectly.
I decided to pair this top up with super comfortable jeggings from CottonOn and my (sort-of) most recent purchase from Tory Burch, the “Davy” Sandals.
As always, my number one priority is comfort when planning an outfit. I always think, how comfortable am I going to feel running behind Nick in this outfit? The answer has to be “very comfortable” or its back to the drawing board.
In a perfect world I would have worn nice black wedges or even a crop top instead of one of this length. But well, maybe that outfit will be planned for a day we go out without the little one.
Since I love the off-the-shoulder trend I have picked out some of my favorites for you to shop. Let me know what your favorite trend is at the moment and what your take is on this outfit.
