The first weekend of April my boys and I ventured off to meet up with some friends at Smorgasburg LA. I should disclose that even though our house is about 17 miles from Downtown Los Angeles we hardly make it out there. During the week my husband and I spend countless hours in the traffic and crowds of the city, so on the weekends we like to stay away from all of that. With that being said, we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to spend time with close friends and enjoy delicious food.
Do you ever feel like you get lost in the hustle and bustle of life? To be honest, in October I felt like I was trampled. Life at the office was hectic, to say the least. I had court more times than I can remember and although I love going to court, this also means that I get less time for office work. Home life then becomes affected since the small amount of “free” time I have at night after Nick goes to sleep is used for office work. This is usually the time I dedicate to my blog, so now you know why I’ve been sort of MIA. In October we also had various commitments including two of our dearest friends’ wedding, and a quirky halloween party. Needless to say, sometimes we just need a lazy day to recharge.
Today we took Nick to the Pumpkin Patch, one of or our yearly fall traditions. I was excited because last year Nick was only three months old and did not really know what was going on. Also, because the weather was nice and cool, unlike last year when it was over 100 ° in October, which is why we have named it “The Pumpkin Patch from Hell.” And, I was finally able to cross something off of our Fall Bucket List.
